Aslema to our Tunisian friends!

We’ve just completed our second mission to Tunisia and enjoyed the warm Tunisian sun and welcome! Special thanks to our friends at the Canadian Embassy in Tunisia and the Trade Commission for their support throughout our mission.

This mission focused largely on our province’s Education sector. We are looking for bilingual Early Childhood Educators and Primary / Secondary Level Teachers who want to live and work in Newfoundland and Labrador. Check out our radio segment on Express FM here for more information on our Tunisia mission: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBNMYgD-5bU

Education is a regulated sector in Newfoundland and Labrador. If you would like to work as an Early Childhood Educator (for children aged 0- to 5) in our province, you can start by applying for initial certification through the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Newfoundland and Labrador. The services offered by AECENL are offered in both English and in French.

If you teach children aged 5 to 18, and would like to teach in Canada, you can get started with Pathways to Teach Canada.

Be sure to register your profile on our virtual recruitment platform at www.bientotchezvous.ca. This allows employers to access your resume. Plus, you can stay up to date on our virtual activities! We are planning a virtual recruitment session in autumn 2025.

Newfoundland and Labrador is a predominantly English-speaking province on Canada’s east coast. While daily life here is largely conducted in English, we’re proud to have a vibrant and growing French-speaking community—and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

Please be aware that no other company or organisation can promise you immigration to Canada. If a third-party company offers you a job in Canada or Newfoundland and Labrador, contact us to check the legitimacy of the offer.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, nor any Newfoundland and Labrador employers, will ever charge you immigration fees.

If you’re passionate about education and ready for a new adventure, we invite you to explore what Newfoundland and Labrador has to offer.

À très bientôt!
