Paging all UK and Ireland Doctors!

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism is back on the road with our colleagues from Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services! 

During the month of November, we will be back in the United Kingdom alongside our Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services team to attend a Doctor’s Job Fair to recruit world-class professionals to fill in-demand physician roles in NL – and spread the word about everything Newfoundland and Labrador has to offer!

Our team will be hitting the ground running in London on Monday, November 10 as we continue to grow our presence throughout the region to highlight exiting opportunities in Newfoundland and Labrador. These include early childhood educators, social workers, engineers, residential construction workers and more!  We will be hosting one-on-one meetings with professionals and prospective newcomers to NL, and meeting with students and administrators at key post-secondary institutions, certification boards and regulators.

Dublin Highlights & London Preview 

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s In-Country Operations Team has wrapped up a fantastic first stop on our November 2024 UK Roadshow at the Doctor’s Job Fair in Dublin, Ireland!

Alongside NL Health Services team, we had the privilege of connecting with 40 potential physicians from Ireland and beyond—remarkable talent who could soon call Newfoundland and Labrador home. Our conversations were inspiring, as we shared the many benefits of working and living in our province.

Next up, we are in London for the second Doctor’s Job Fair on November 16th. Admission is free for Internationally Trained Physicians, and we’re eager to meet even more healthcare professionals interested in a rewarding career with NL Health Services.

Beyond the job fairs, our team continues to arrange one-on-one meetings with jobseekers across the UK. We’re highlighting exciting opportunities in healthcare, engineering, residential construction, aviation, early childhood education, and more.
